The vineyard estate Bergmannhof is situated at the foot of the Gantkofel/Macáion Massif, in the famous wine-growing municipality Eppan an der Weinstraße/Appiano sulla Strada del Vino. Our family has already been cultivating grapes in the vineyards situated directly on the estate since 1850. We produce our long-standing and honest high-quality wine on an area of 2.5 hectares. The grape varieties Chardonnay, Vernatsch, Merlot and Lagrein thrive on the chalk gravel soil. The quality of the wines is based on three generations of experience and know-how, and on commitment and passion in vineyard and cellar. We try to work as close to nature as possible, with few, specific interventions, in this way getting the best possible out of our grapes.
