At the gateway to the Vinschgau Valley, nestled in the historic heart of Parcines/Partschins, the Isser Estate Winery tells a story of origin, precision, and quiet determination. Overlooking the property stands the Gaudententurm Tower, built in 1348 – a landmark and a witness to the evolving dialogue between land, family and craft.
Here, Christine and Felix – mother and son – work side by side with Valentina to produce wines and distillates with identity and character. Two generations, two crafts, one shared ethos: a commitment to detail, a trust in nature, and a deep-rooted sense of quality.
The vineyards stretch across carefully selected plots in and around Parcines, Lagundo/Algund and Tirolo/Dorf Tirol (Pröfing), reaching altitudes of up to 640 meters above sea level. Warm days and cool nights define the aromatic profile, while mineral-rich soils lend the wines structure and finesse.
In the vineyard, everything is done by hand – from pruning to harvesting – with an uncompromising focus on vine health and grape integrity. That same attention to detail guides every decision in the cellar. The range is small, focused, and distinctively expressive: A crisp Pinot Blanc, an expressive Goldmuskateller, an elegant Rosé, a classic Vernatsch, and Luis – a structured, multi-layered cuvée based on Zweigelt. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and carried out with selected cultured yeasts to preserve the integrity of each grape variety. The white wines rest on fine lees, gaining texture and depth, while malolactic fermentation gives the reds greater softness, balance, and approachability.
In the estate’s artisan distillery, Christine crafts a refined selection of fruit brandies. Only hand-picked fruit – grown on the estate or sourced from trusted long-standing partners – is used. Distillation is done with precision and restraint, without additives, capturing the essence of each fruit in its purest form.
