The family-run Praxmarer Winery is located in Mazon, a picturesque plateau south of South Tyrol’s capital, Bolzano/Bozen. This region, with its distinctive microclimate, is considered one of Italy’s most renowned areas for cultivating Pinot Noir.
In 2020, we embarked on a new chapter in our over 200-year-old family legacy, now in its eighth generation. For the first time, we are personally vinifying grapes from a selection of our 14 hectares of vineyards, with the vision of crafting a truly distinctive interpretation of our Mazon Pinot Noir.
In the historic cellar of the Fritzenhof Estate in Mazon, we produce exclusive wines in strictly limited quantities. These wines are meant to delight the palate while reflecting the terroir of their origin and the distinctiveness of each vintage. Our mission is to bottle these qualities with uncompromising precision and the highest standards of craftsmanship.
