The historic Lentsch wine farm in the village of Branzoll in South Tyrol comprises 12.5 hectares of vineyards. The sunny hills at the bottom of the fire-red porphyry rocks of this area were memorably described by Goethe. The local soil, made up of clay, sand and porphyry, offers a unique form of thermal storage and thus provides this terroir with its unique character. This is the fertile soil for growing the red wines Cabernet, Merlot and Lagrein Morus, as well as the Cabernet-Merlot Cuvée Palestina, named after the hilly landscape around Branzoll. Next to Merlot Rosé, the winery also produces white wines such as Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Goldmuskateller.
