Nestled on the southern slopes of Renon/Ritten, just below the village of Auna di Sotto/Unterinn at an elevation of 850 meters, the Föranerhof is a family-run farm managed by Cecilia Mittelberger with the help of her entire family. This farm specializes in fruit and wine production, cultivating a wide variety of fruits on nearly 3 hectares of land. On about three-quarters of a hectare, a variety of grapevines flourish, with most of the grapes being expertly crafted into wine on-site.
Föranerhof takes pride in producing two exquisite white wines: the fragrant and nuanced Müller Thurgau and the refined Sylvaner. The vineyard also boasts two exceptional red wines: Zweigelt and Vernatsch. Both varieties exhibit excellent ripening qualities at higher altitudes, with Zweigelt grapes maturing in wooden barrels over several years, while the lighter Vernatsch is delightful when enjoyed young.
Beyond viticulture, Föranerhof features a quaint nursery, where, especially in spring, an assortment of bedding, balcony, and young vegetable plants are nurtured. The farm also transforms a bounty of fruits into delectable jams and syrups.
Our products are available for purchase directly at the farm or at the Ritten farmers' markets in Klobenstein and Oberbozen.
