Family Rottensteiner has owned Brunnenhof in the middle of the Mazzon vineyards since 1987. Here, Johanna and Kurt Rottensteiner, together with their children Johann and Eva, have brought Brunnenhof to new heights: namely to a place of the highest quality of life for passionate wine enthusiasts. The vineyard, an island of grape vines at 300 to 450 metres above sea level, is known as the best location for Pinot Noir in the whole region. For this reason, our Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer are characterized by a unique and velvety softness. Tradition and innovation are kept alive at Brunnenhof. In the past, the vines of Brunnenhof were trained in an arbour, whereas now the Guyot trellis system is used. There is a pleasant coolness in the old vaults of Brunnenhof; stone, oak tree, steel and glass make our wine special.
