The Obermoser winery, owned by the Rottensteiner family is located in the picturesque wine district of St. Magdalena above Bozen/Bolzano. The family has been developing, curing and improving regional wines for many generations. Heinrich and Thomas Rottensteiner are the fourth generation of passionate wine makers and dedicate themselves to producing wines of high quality and individuality. The growing area of the family's winery stretches over 3.8 hectares, the majority of which is located in the classic St. Magdalener area. The external winery "Putz Mauer" is situated in the core zone of the Kalterer See growing area. Every year approximately 34,000 bottles are filled with St. Magdalener Classico, Lagrein, Sauvignon Blanc, Lagrein Riserva "Grafenleiten" and Cabernet Riserva.
