Wine tasting with the Free Winegrowers of South Tyrol in the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle GUESTS: 10 winegrowers from the VDP Pfalz 12 winegrowers from Vinea Wachau
On Friday, 30 June 2023, the Free Winegrowers of South Tyrol invite you to a special walk through the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle in Merano: from 6 p.m., winegrowers from South Tyrol, the Wachau and the Pfalz will present their wines together for the first time. The “Wine & Garden” event is the highlight of a winegrowers’ exchange to which the Free Winegrowers of South Tyrol (FWS) have invited their colleagues from Austria and Germany.
A total of 46 winegrowers invite to “Wine & Garden”, a special wine tasting in the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle in Merano on Friday, 30 June 2023. 24 members of the Free Winegrowers of South Tyrol will present selected wines together with 10 colleagues from the Pfalz and another 12 wineries from the Wachau. From 6 p.m., they will be ready with their tasting stands in niches along the paths for anyone interested.
For admission from 6 pm, the evening ticket costs 9 euros; the tasting itself is free for visitors and lasts until 10 pm. In case of bad weather, the tasting will be moved to the Touriseum in the adjacent castle; in this respect, the event can be scheduled regardless of the weather.
