Generations at the winery in the Oltradige: when the farm was handed over, the Tenuta Nicolussi Leck was facing the question to continue delivering to the cooperative or not. From 2016 that was over: Jakob, who was 26 at the time, got the farm as heritage and came to the decision that the potential of the traditional winefarm could be better developed independently - also because the winery has very different sites within a short distance, which makes Jakob's work in the cellar particularly exciting. Father Georg still likes to take care of the vineyards, even if the practices there has also been changed and the various tasks are accomplished using ecological methods - in close cooperation between the two.

Generations at the winery in the Valle Isarco: the wines of Peter, Brigitte and Simon Pliger from the Kuen Hof in Bressanone are created in close cooperation between the generations. Father Peter switched the business to direct marketing in 1990. Right from the beginning, he was open to the ideas of his son Simon, who, after training as a craftsman, discovered the joy of viticulture and continued his education accordingly. The farm has not been handed over yet, but Simon is already taking responsibility. Decisions are taken together, what father and son manage well thanks to similar ways of thinking. So also the step for an experiment that was created in the pandemic period: in addition to the traditional white wines, the Pliger family now also produces sparkling wine and dessert wines.
